Reasoning For Taking It Down: I was asked not to take it down even after it had been up for months & months I didn't even really want to take it down either,but I just felt it was time.
Idea: I got my idea for this layout from watching the ipod commercials. I wanted to do a layout that was not only unique but that also captured Dan's love for music. At the time I had made the layout Dan had stated that he took his music with him everywhere, so I thought that this layout just worked great.
My Rating 1-10: This is one of my favorite layouts to-date. I love the images and the way I placed them on this layout. I remember people asked me how I did the layout but to be a 100% honest, I couldn't & still till this day can't recall how I got the colors. I wish I could remember because they were great colors. The only thing I think I would have changed is, probably the background color. I would have liked to change that hot pink to something a bit more subtle, but the colors that I got from the images just didn't work as well as they did with the pink. My rating for this layout is a 8 out of 10.

Reasoning For Taking It Down: It was just time for a new look.
Idea: I was crazy about that picture when I saw it! I still love it. It's that smile of his! I was working with the picture in Photoshop for icons & wallpapers & such, when I got this awesome color from the image. I liked the color so much I just decided to make a layout from the image.
My Rating 1-10: This was a pretty simple layout, like "Punk". There was no blending of images because it was just that one image. But for some reason this layout just came out better. The black & white worked great with the image & gave the layout a look of "elegance".

Reasoning For Taking It Down: It was a really simple layout so after awhile it got boring.
Idea: At the time I made the layout I was struggling to come up with a new layout. I saw the pictures & liked them but what I came up with was totally random.
My Rating 1-10: To be honest, I hated this layout. I loved the pictures but hated the way I did the layout. I couldn't even finish it while it was up. There was suppose to be scrolls and such but I was extremely busy with school at the time so it was never properly finished. My rating for this layout is a 4 at best.

Reasoning For Taking It Down: Please go back and check out the debut date & then look at when I took it down. I think that pretty much answers the question, lol.
Idea: At this time we were getting loads of new images from Goblet of Fire and I just loved every photo. So I put the images together and came up with this. As for the purple, I wanted to try something different since all my layouts up to this point contained blue & pink.
My Rating 1-10: This was the first layout I made in Adobe Photoshop and let me just say, what a difference. It was so much easier to work on Adobe Photoshop than Paintshop Pro 6.0
I got the colors I wanted and the images where I wanted them! I know "Purple Potter" could be better but I still adore it. I give it a 7.

Reasoning For Taking It Down: It got kind of old after a while.
Idea: I have no idea. lol! I just sort of messed with the images and colors and got this. I really liked it as it was my first step to making more professional layouts. Remember I said "first step" not leap. :)
My Rating 1-10: I would say a 5? I really need to get the other staff members to rate my layouts, I feel kind of dumb rating my own, hey, maybe Megan will rate the layouts!

Reasoning For Taking It Down: It was up for just way too long, we needed a change.
Idea: The Banner was made by the very nice TeawithSnape over at Radnet forums. From there I just sort of built the rest of the layout off the banner.
My Rating 1-10: This was by second attempt at a layout and this layout wasn't even really made by me so it was only slightly better than the original, but the key word is "slightly". The banner was great but the layout around it didn't really work, in my opinion. I would have to give it a 3 as well.

Reasoning For Taking It Down: It was my first layout so as you can tell it wasn't my best. So it didn't take to long until it got really dull and I started to dislike it.
Idea:I really loved the posters that were released for Prisoner of Azkaban and for some reason or other I decided to make them blue.
My Rating 1-10: Since this was my first layout that I did without any knowledge of graphics, I would say it wasn't to bad. But now that I have dabbled with graphics and can now do so much more compared to when I first started the site, I can see the amateurishness in the layout. So I would have to say maybe about a 3.
