Over the course of four years Dan has had two different hair styles that have really caught our attention. As weird as it may sound some people have even debated about his hair styles. Which hair style did you like best? The one in PoA or the new look in GoF?? Personally I have gotten to the point where I really don't care. Just so long as Dan is comfortable with the way he looks and as long as Dan continues to play the lovable hero, that it still fits into the "Potter" hair style. I will admit when I first saw his new do at the PoA dvd launch party I wasn't all that thrilled with it. But as I have seen more pictures of Dan with the new look it has grown on me and I think it looks great!

To prove my point I took a look at some of Dan's favorite bands. Nick Valensi, from The Strokes, Nic Cester, from Jet, Brandon Flowers, from The Killers, and Pete Doherty from, The Libertines, all of whom share, the short and rebellious look. So as I searched I found some pictures of Dan's favorite bands and compared the pictures to his, if you look above you will see what I came up with. I have to say I loved that hair style on Dan. It really worked for him, don't you think?
Dan's next hair style is quiet different from his last look yet it still fits into the whole punk rocker look. Dan's hair style went from short and rebellious to long and shaggy. At first, I found this look to be totally wrong for Dan. When I thought of long and shag like hair, I thought of Julian from the Strokes, or Robert from Rooney, but not Dan! I first saw the look on Dan when he attended the PoA dvd release and his hair looked extremely thick, and as I later found out many other fans had the same reaction. Maybe it was just because we were so use to the Short and Rebellious look that it came as a shock, or maybe it just wasn't styled right, who knows. But now with the release of the new GoF photos I am beginning to see that, that fashion actually works well for Dan.
Dan's hair style still follows the appearence of his favorite bands. Now Dan has taken on the look of Taylor Locke, Robert Carmine, both from Rooney, Julian Casblances, The Strokes and Jason Stollsteimer, from The Von Bondies. Dan pulls off the new look with style and uniqueness. I must admit it can't get much hotter than this......or can it?
